Sandra Wakefield
Fearless Heart Ministries
Organizers of the first annual Sulphur River Valley Women’s Conference announce their featured presenter, Sandra Wakefield portraying Mary of Bethany, a woman who knew Jesus while He lived on Earth.
Women from several area churches are coming together to present this one-day event to encourage and inspire women of all ages. Scheduled for Saturday, January 19, the 2019 conference theme is Loving HIM First. Jesus said for us to LOVE the Lord our God with all our heart. Then we can love others because God first loved us.
Wearing authentic costumes, Ms Wakefield engages her audiences with her warm, humorous and compelling approach to life. As a survivor of cancer, divorce, and betrayal, Sandra understands the heartache associated with tragic loss. Her spellbinding messages touch many hearts as she brings the Bible to life. An award-winning actress, Ms Wakefield recently portrayed “The Mother of Jesus” for the United Nations Ambassador Wives in New York City. She also participated in the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana in England.
Authentic and moving, Sandra brings Women of Bible to life as they come “off the page and onto the stage.” After seeing her dramatic presentations, her listeners never view God’s Word the same again.
Other featured presenters include Gency Fortenberry who serves with her husband of 44 years, Pastor Mike Fortenberry, in a new work called His Place Fellowship in Paris, Texas. Gency loves to shop, travel with her sweetheart, study and teach the Bible and of course, play with her five-year-old grandson, Cord. Her ministry goal is to “encourage women of GOD with the WORD of GOD.”
Grace Crabb will bring a message of truth with love. Behind her bright smile, you’ll find a busy young wife and mom who serves as the Children’s Church Leader for First Assembly of God in Cooper, Texas. Along with her husband, Brian, Grace enjoys time with their daughter, Aspen who loves to sing to Jesus.
Featured musicians include Micalyn Rowe, Joannah Cowart, and By Faith Alone.
The 2019 conference will be held at First Baptist Church at 500 E. Dallas Avenue, Cooper, Texas. Doors open at 8:00 am with a continental breakfast and displays of area ministries that serve women and families.
